Are you aware of Report Formats being introduced by Insurers?

Well if you have been working for private insurance companies then you must be aware that each company has a pre defined format. Some of these are complex to deal with if you are not using computer to produce the report.

As the time progresses we expect these companies will only accept reports in the prescribed formats and there is very specific reason for that. It is not that the companies are wanting to make it difficult to report, however from there point of view they have to ensure that the information contained in the survey report can be captured into their system for analysis and control.

If India is to de-tariff motor insurance then these companies have to act now to assimilate the claims information to stay in business.

The challenge for the surveyor is how to deal with so many formats. The answer is simple. If you have
then SCORE will automatically produce report in the Insurers format.
